Hello Friend,
As we near the end of 2022, I find myself thinking about the journey of Keenly. We started this initiative a little over 8 years ago with the sole purpose of helping improve ministries by using creative, consultative and assessment services. We've done a lot of different things and helped a lot of ministries in this time. There have been some amazing opportunities, of which I am very grateful.
Moving into 2023 we have made the decision to prioritize our work toward our primary vision… Better Ministry Everywhere. This focus will require some significant changes.
What's changing?
Effective January 1, 2023, Keenly will be discontinuing tactical services for web, creative and marketing. Most of our clients are fairly self sufficient in these areas, but for those who still need assistance from time to time, we've got a great solution. We have partnered with several amazing companies to provide even better service and support. These services include:
- Web design
- CMS management
- Blogging
- Domain names
- Hosting
- 3rd Party integration
- Donor systems
- Graphic design
- Collateral
- Video production
- Content writing
- Ad design
- Promotional materials
- Sermon graphics
- Signage & display
- Eblasts
- Newsletters
- Social media
- Social ads
- Optimization (SEO)
- Campaigns
We would love to introduce you to these partners and friends. We can’t wait to see what they can do for your organization moving forward. Simply reach out to us with services needed and we will get you connected.
Is Keenly going away?
Nope. We'll be busy as usual, but our focus will be different in this new season. Keenly is moving away from being a creative and technical service provider so we can focus our attention on some new areas. We see an opportunity to serve ministries in a farther reaching and more scalable manner by moving into the digital space. This might feel a bit sudden; however, we’ve been working on this new direction and trying out various parts of it since October 2020. We’re really excited about serving ministries everywhere in this new way.
So, what’s the new focus?
You’ve likely heard bits and pieces over the last year. There are 3 clear areas of focus that Keenly is being hyper intentional about in this new season: Product development, Consulting, and the Collective.
Products have been in the works for a while now. We are launching our first product early 2023. It is based on a consulting method we use to help organizations figure out vision and direction challenges. Most of our products planned for 2023-2024 are based upon approaches we have utilized in live coaching and consulting projects in the past. The goal is to provide affordable, easy to use, online resources, tools and training to help organizations do better ministry. We are calling this initiative Ministry Edge. You'll be hearing more about it in the coming weeks. We think it’s pretty cool.
Consulting has been redesigned to serve directional, organizational and messaging-related challenges ministries deal with. We’ve made the decision to be very focused in this area and only focus on a handful of these types of projects each year. We’ve been building a referral network of ministry partner agencies to serve requests and opportunities that sit outside of our core consulting focus and capacity.
The Keenly Collective is an initiative to bring like-minded people together to office, meet, gather, learn, and strategize with a higher purpose in mind. We have reconfigured the Keenly office in North Phoenix to accommodate multiple uses such as community space, conference room, meeting rooms, and our new podcast studio. These spaces are available for use to our existing base of friends and customers. Since this is a concept we are testing we are limiting access to the general public and offering Collective use through invitation/approval. To inquire about utilizing the Collective visit: https://keenlycollective.com. Use the passcode "Teamwork1" to gain access. If you are needing a spot for an upcoming meeting, check in with us. If you haven't used the collective previously, we’ll give you a couple hours of meeting or conference room time free of charge.
The Future
We see a future where Better Ministry Everywhere isn’t just an aspirational statement, it is a reality for organizations committed to do better. Our goal over the next 5 years is that Keenly and its family of initiatives becomes the go-to destination for ministry improvement so that organizations of all types have the resources, tools and training they need, in order to have a foundation of integrity and a healthier and more effective ministry.
Best Regards,
Jason Lehman
